I started cubing in 2015 with a 2x2 from Target. My first competitions were in 2017- I enjoyed cubing, but my favorite part was buying a cube from a local vendor.

After that, my dream became to create a cube store. I researched cubes and put together a website layout, but quickly realized I lacked the tools and experience to pull it off. Over the next few years I chased other business opportunities instead- writing, fixing phones, selling jewelry, making stained glass.

In early 2024, I noticed there wasn't a vendor at my local competitions anymore. That was enough to bring the dream back. I started Kanyons Cubes, and began vending at local competitions. Thanks to a supportive community, I quickly expanded online to reach more customers.

In July of 2025, I started learning to design cubes myself. Since then, the business has grown into something more than I originally pictured. I now design and manufacture my own puzzles here in southern Utah- and wholesale a core lineup through TheCubicle, while my own site is where I release the more experimental, niche puzzles.
